Laura Linney is an American actress who has become famous for her portrayal of strong and vulnerable characters. Linney is from a theatre background, since her father was a playwright Romulus Linney. She earned a degree in Arts Theatre School, Moscow in the year 1986. Then she earned an M.F.A. at Juilliard School. New York City. The actress immediately started performing in shows on Broadway before receiving acclaim for her performances as Hedda Gabler in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
