Claire Elise Boucher is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician. [2][3] The range of her music from the beginning was described as "lo the fi R&B" and "futuristic dance-pop". Grimes was born and raised in Vancouver in the early 1990s, before moving to Montreal at the age of 2000. In 2012, Visions is her 3rd studio release. Grimes signed with 4AD.
