Kim Engelbrecht

Leighton Meester (born Leighton Meester) is an American model, singer and songwriter. Leighton Meester is best known as Blair Waldorf in the TV drama "Gossip Girl." She began her acting career as a child. In her early years she performed in a local stage production that starred in the 'Wizard's of Oz' after which her passion in acting developed. Her first job was acting in commercials and modeling. For modeling assignments, she has worked for major brands such as 'Herbal Essences' 'Vera Wang and 'Jimmy Choo and 'Ralph Lauren. Although she started her career as model, she eventually ventured into acting as well. The beginning of her acting career was a cameo role in the popular television show 'Law & Order'. She has since appeared in several television and feature films that include 'Country Strength and 'Monte Carlo' as well as Killer Movie. In addition to acting, Meester also was a part of notable music artists like 'Cobra' Starship the artist Robin Thicke, and recorded songs. Her songs have been featured on the Billboard Top Hits. She was also a part of the Broadway production called "Of Mice and Men."
