Colson Baker, or Machine Gun Kelly, is famous for his unique style of singing. James Colson Baker suffered from depression, and was unemployed and Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. When he was in sixth grade, he began listening to rap. Colson Kelly was born Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989 in Texas. In his music, he is famous for his ability to mix hip-hop style modern along with classic rock. Baker has signed with Bad Boy Records in 2010 and released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010. The Cleveland rapper, who wrote songs at the speed that of a fast bullet saw an explosive growth when in 2011, he made the switch from self-released mixes to reputable labels. The following years saw every album he released was ranked at the top of the charts.
